Goodbye to Ukraine

This week we close our chapter of life in Ukraine. We will be packing out, the kids last week of school and getting ready for our summer vacation. We have enjoyed our house here and our church branch. We haven't enjoyed the traffic although it has gotten significantly better in the last year due to financial woes of many Ukraine drivers. All and all it has been a good two years.

Winters were long and gray but spring in Kyiv made it worth the wait. Spring brings flowers, lilacs and blooming trees everywhere. Not good for allergies but worth it after the gray winter.

We will be closing our chapter on Eastern Europe after 7 years here also after being in Ukraine, Bulgaria and Moldova. I have a feeling we will have cultural shock for the first time in years once we get to Morocco. It will be a nice change and we are looking forward to something different.

So for now so long Ukraine....
