Shevchenko Park

One of the very few playgrounds that aren't filled with broken down metal equipment, stray dogs waiting to bite your leg or sand boxes filled with cat poop. =}

This is Shevchenko Park. He was a famous Ukrainian poet. The red building is a university. Notice the flowers are blooming- Kyiv is gray and ugly during winter but makes up for it during spring time. Although my allergies are driving me crazy I can't help but love all the spring flowers and green trees.
