Hyrum chose an Egyptian theme birthday party this year. The kids decorated Egyptian collars and arm bands, played wrap the mummy, pin the crown on King Tut and just played. They also had a treasure hunt and found their goody bags.
I told Hyrum he only gets these parties for another year or two. Since I enjoy planning it as much as he enjoys having the party I really don't mind. It is just takes a little work!

I made a mummy cake. All the kids loved it but not many wanted to eat it. Could be because most were not American so they aren't accustom to our love of sweet cake/frosting or they were scared to eat the mummy. Oh well I was able to send half of the cake to the mission office.
