We went to Greece at the end of June. It was about 5 hours away but 8 hours for us driving. It was a long trip between lots of construction, potty stops, picnic lunch, crossing the border. The kids were very excited about going to the beach for the first time. We enjoyed the beach, the pool, the playground. We enjoyed seeing Greece but we came to the conclusion that we are not "beach people" so to say. A few days and that was good for us we all had enough. Brent and I both grew up in the mountains so I guess that makes us mountain people. We've been to Hawaii and really enjoyed it. But our second conclusion was a beach, is a beach, is a beach. But we are glad we got to go.
We thought these trees were pretty cool. They look like a giant pineapple.
