We've heard it for years. The kids ask everywhere we live. They want a pet, any pet just something! Since we move every few years it isn't something to take on lightly. However this time we decided something small, quiet and furry we could adopt for a few years with the intent of finding it a really good home when we leave because it is a lot to ask of an animal to travel around like we do!
