During a spring break trip up North, we went to Lixus which was an ancient city that was settled by the Phoenicians during the 7th century B.C. It sits on a hill overlooking the modern city of Larache The kids saw a snake which was the highlight of the visit for them. We got sprinkled on but had a good time exploring.
